I've been planning for this week's theme for a couple months.  In December my sister earned her BFA (Bachelors of Fine Arts) from a local university.  She is quite the artist and I knew she would be the perfect person to paint my nails for me.

I met up with her Sunday night with a bunch of tools and acrylic paints.  I had painted my nails white so she had a nice blank canvas to work with.  It was neat to see her wheels turning as she thought about what she wanted to do and watch the design develop.  She did lots of color blending and to achieve the look she wanted.  This painting was her inspiration for my mani.  She saw it when she was traveled to Paris during her study abroad.

She did a beautiful job!  She was totally in her artist mode and really went at my nails like they were little canvases.  Thank you Sister!

Be sure the check out all the other manis today:
