I've seen OPI Gargantuan Green Grape on other blogs before, but until I saw it in person, I didn't feel the need to own it.
It's such a soft, minty green. I just had to have it. Why are so many of the soft colors out there so sheer? This baby takes three coats for decent opacity. Two coaters are acceptable, but a one coater is preferred. Oh well. The color is fantastic, so I guess I'll just have to deal.
I also picked up OPI My Vampire is Buff while I was out. You can never have too many nude polishes. They're all just a smidge different which makes them all necessary. I thought these two colors went together fabulously.
This is another bottle brush design. Can you tell those are flowers? Can you tell they're supposed to be poppies? I don't know if poppies come in nude, but I went with it anyway. The gradient and polka dots? Yes, I did those with bottle brushes. They're not perfect. Like I said yesterday, you'll get a more organic look as opposed to the perfection that can be achieved with precision tools. I like it! What do you think of this bottle brush design? Are my poppies convincing?
Sinful Colors Nirvana and Savage and Jordana Chiffon are the other polishes that were used to create this design.
